Update March 2013

Edna Anderson has become the coordinator for the Community Food Growing Garden. All fourteen food growing plots have been taken by local people who do not have access to a garden.

Planting has started!

Plot holders are planting potatoes, radishes, beet-root, shallots, strawberries and many other vegetables and flowers.

The garden is attracting many visitors who come specially to see the progress, including the local councilor: http://johnfahy.org.uk/category/blog/

Current work includes building fences and emptying the old (1970s) fertilizer chest container.
